Automated Internet Business Systems - Pros & Cons
With the growing trend in owning an online business, automated internet systems rock! So who wouldn't want an already built for you, ready to pull the trigger and make money online kick ass web machine? Those with experience online know the challenges with keywords, content, traffic, SEO, social media, list-building and such.
Web designers know that internet marketing is not simple. Making money online requires much more than simply building or buying a website. As the ecommerce industry grows, so does the competition for traffic and conversions. Automation, social media integration & SEO are critical and yet so is unique content.
That learning curve about internet marketing can be a doozy!
Of course this gets refuted in marketing language, and what is 'easy' for one is not so for another. This depends highly on one's current level of internet skills and the willingness and ability to learn new ones. Maybe you you are already very busy and want OUT of the rat race, not to add to the avalanche of input.
PROS:
So the draws to these automated internet systems is that they've already been created by one or maybe even a squad of web geeks. SEO tools are done, keyword rich, already integrated with social media & sometimes even list-building software.
You buy a 'turnkey business' or 'blueprint' or whatever it might be called. No need to learn all that techno babble and sales. Maybe you get overwhelmed easily by all that internet marketing stuff and maybe this system is even offered for free and you said, "Damn straight dude, sign me UP!
CONS:
Replicated websites without unique content will not impress google or any search machines. Usually the content was rewritten PLR (Public Label Rights) content in the first place. Even if it was unique content in the first place, then once these 'systems' begin selling, they are no longer unique since they've been replicated, copied over & over as the sales roll in on this 'unique' system. It was (maybe) unique on the day it was born. Then hundreds or thousands of people bought it. Unique? Personal? Not.
Just as important is getting traffic, fans, customers, conversions of some kind - either sales or at the very least gaining fans by building your list. Given that there's a tendancy to follow or buy from those we know and trust, then isn't that element left out of this system? Do you plan to pay for 'leads' or do you have a plan to get them yourself? Traffic and fans are the lifeblood of an internet business, the gas that makes it chug.
You might get traffic based on google keywords or sales leads, but what then? Are you sure these visitors becomes yours? In many cases, these slick systems have under the radar techniques that will benefit from 'your site' without your knowledge. See an example at the link in the paragraph below.

I've been reviewing some of these so-called 'automated internet systems' with high interest. I just know there's a huge demand and hungry market for them. I've found a few 'automated internet marketing systems' that are slick and well-developed with great training content, yet fail in other vital unfulfilled promises. Slick systems with a hidden agenda.

My questions about 'automated internet systems':
1) Is the content rewritten PLR? Does it get updated regularly? (If not, you are screwed)
2) How many pages is the main product?
3) What about the graphics on the site? Are they unique?
4) About the salespage, are graphics & content unique? How long is it?
5) How do you avoid the problem of duplicate content and replicated websites? (Very important!)
6) Does the system include list-building software? Content? Who owns it?
7) Once system is built, may I then login & personalize it in a relatively simple way?
*****************************************************************************************************
Maybe the bottom line under all of the questions above might be summarized as:
Is content (both text & graphics) unique?
and
Who really owns (drives) this system?
I've begun reviewing a few of these 'automated systems' and will publish about any that appear to rise to the top.
I'm from Missouri, the 'SHOW ME' state, so ...
SHOW ME!
Is there actually such a system that works? Does it really exist?
Here's one example I found this morning about weight loss.
